In addition to the written documentation required, James Morrison Scholarship applicants must provide the following audio recordings as part of the audition process:
 

• Two pieces, contrasting in style and tempo, no longer than 5 minutes per piece.

 

For all Instrumentalists -

• 12 bar blues (mp3) &

• Ballad of own choice (mp3)

Drummers Only –

​

• A swing tune (mp3) &

• A Latin tune (mp3)

Please submit your audition recordings below: via online folder – Dropbox, Hightail etc

Make sure that the recording itself demonstrates the highest possible audio quality so that your performance can be evaluated fairly.

 

Professional recordings are not necessary and recordings using a Smart Phone (iPhone or similar), iPod / iPad with external mic, Zoom Recording Device or Digital Voice Recorder is suitable.

No video recording will be accepted as this is an anonymous audition process.
