BAND DIRECTORS AWARD, Most Outstanding Jazz Educator

In recognition of outstanding leadership and inspiration in the field of jazz education. One band director will be selected by the Generations in Jazz adjudicators throughout the festival to receive this award. The winner of the Band Director’s award will be given the unforgettable experience of hosting a James Morrison clinic at their school. James will personally conduct a master-class and workshop with music students making for a priceless and memorable event.

VOCAL ENSEMBLE DIRECTOR’S AWARD

In recognition of outstanding leadership in the field of jazz education.  One Vocal Ensemble Director will be selected by the Generations in Jazz Adjudicators throughout the festival to receive this award.  The winner of the Vocal Ensemble Director’s award will be given the experience of hosting Naomi Crellin and Nick Begbie Clinic at their school. They will personally conduct a master-class and workshop with Vocal students making for a valuable and memorable event.  Proudly supported by the Australian National Choral Association.
